We should bowl more fast against Indian Batsman says Mitchell Santner

India vs New Zealand 2017

New Zealand spinner Michelle Santner has said that they have to accelerate their bowling in order to achieve success against India’s strong batting order. He also said that the team has to wait for captain Virat Kohli and his team to make mistakes. Left-armer Santner said, “It is difficult to bowl against Indian players. They play well against the spin and have grown up facing the spin. I will try to keep everything simple. Throw the ball at a little faster on the wicket and force them to make mistakes. If you bowl some dot balls and make pressure in such a way, then you can get wickets. We are trying to do this.”

Santner admitted that it would not be easy to stop Kohli. He said, “Virat is a very good player and most of his teammates are also better. They are in good form. They played quite well against Australia. When we came here last time, we did well. Hope this time we will do better and win the series. Santner said that his previous experience will help him in this series.

Team India and New Zealand will face each other in the three ODIs and three Twenty-20 matches, starting from October 22.
