The “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ” is being celebrated on the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence. The tricolor campaign has been running at every house on the appeal of the Government of India. People are putting the picture of the tricolor on their profile picture on social media. The former Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni, has also changed his profile photo on Instagram.

MS Dhoni changed his profile picture and put a tricolor picture on it on Friday. This picture contains some Sanskrit words such as “Dhanya: Asmi Bharatatven.” The meaning of this sentence is written as “I am proud to be an Indian.” Fans are also praising his move a lot.

Dhoni is very less active on social media. Be it Facebook or Twitter or Instagram, Dhoni does not post much. However, Dhoni is dominating social media by participating in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Many other cricketers are also participating in this campaign. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan also hoisted the tricolor at his home. Along with this, he also appealed to the fans to be a part of this Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign.

Dhoni has a special attachment with August 15. He took retirement from international cricket on 15 August in 2020. Dhoni announced his retirement through an Instagram post. Suresh Raina also took retirement from International cricket on same day after this post.

MS Dhoni career

MS Dhoni made his international debut in the year 2004 against Bangladesh. He represented India in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is. He scored 4876 runs in Tests, 10,773 runs in ODIs and 1617 runs in T20s. Dhoni scored 6 centuries in test matches and 10 centuries in ODIs.

MS Dhoni was a great wicket-keepr batsman and was a great captain in the cricket field. Now, Dhoni is not a part of Indian cricket team but he is still playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Channai Super Kings.
