According to a proposal by the IPL Governing Council, the tainted teams Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals, ready to return to the next season, can be approved to retain players from Rising Pune Superjents and Gujarat Lions in the last two years.

If this proposal is approved then players can be retained by CSK and Rajasthan Royals.We will keep this proposal in front of team owners next month. If this proposal is accepted, it means that Dhoni, who played for Pune Supergiant, will be automatically replaced by CSK.
It is the same with Suresh Raina or Ravindra Jadeja, who played for the Gujarat Lions.
