Record No. 1 : First Indian player to score three consecutive centuries in ODIs

Virat Kohli has now become the first Indian player to score three consecutive centuries in ODIs. There is no others Indian batsman who has done this before Virat Kohli. He is the only Indian batsman to do so.

Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is on number one spot. He has scored 41 centuries as captain. Graeme Smith (33) and Steve Smith (20) are on the third and fourth place.

Indian captain Virat Kohli has become the second player to score the most consecutive hundreds in ODIs. He has scored 4 centuries. South African batsman AB de Villiers was the first player with 4 centuries. Along with this, Virat kohli also equalized AB in this case.

Record No. 5 : Fourth player to score most centuries as captain in any ODI series 

Virat Kohli has reached the fourth spot in the form of the highest century in any one-day series. In this case, Sourav Ganguly  is on first place with three hundreds. He did this in ICC World Cup 2002/03. At the same time AB de Villiers on the second spot who did it against Team India in 2015/16. Third spot is also belongs to Virat Kohli, he scored 3 centuries against South Africa in 2017-18.

Team India lost by 43 runs even after the brilliant century of Virat Kohli in the match. Kohli scored 107 runs in 119 balls with 10 fours and a six. The fourth ODI match will be played on Monday.
