Pujara made a Special Record

Team India’s Mr. dependable Cheteshwar Pujara made his 15th test fifty in Dharmshala test against Australia. He made a special record on same day, he has now become the Indian player to score most runs in a season.

Cheteshwar Pujara left Gautam Gambhir behind who made 1269 runs in 2008-09 season. But Pujara has now left him behind by scoring 1316 runs in the current season.

The record of most runs in a season is belongs to Australian Ricky Ponting, who scored 1483 runs in 2005-06 season with an average of 78.05. Pujara is just 168 runs behind to Ricky ponting.

Everybody thought that Virat Kohli will break this record of Ricky Ponting before the start of India-Australia test series. But Virat Kohli is not a good form till now. Cheteshwar Pujara left him behind and break the record of Gautam Gambhir.
