Team India will face the weak West Indies in the third match of the five-match ODI series. It would be interesting to see if Rishabh Pant gets an opportunity to debut one day through this match. Captain Virat Kohli has indicated to give Pant an opportunity before the match.
The first match of the series was not completed as rain stopped play that day. The Indian team now ahead in the series with a 1-0 lead by winning the second one-dayer in Port of Spain by 105 runs. Rahane scored his third ODI century in this match, while Kohli and Dhawan played half-century innings which helped India score 310 runs. Now the three batsmen would like to continue this rhythm.
The West Indies, trailing 0-1 in the series, have included two new faces, Kayle Hope and Sunil Ambrose, in the three matches. Both of them replaced Jonathan Carter and Casserack Williams in the 13-man squad. The host will expect to get positive results by includinh these two new players in the team. The West Indies team failed to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time and the Team would be desperate to beat the opposition team in Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
