Mumbai Indians created history in the final of IPL-10. Mumbai Indian won the IPL-10 title for the third time. No other team have done that in the history of IPL-10. Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders have won the title twice.
Mumbai Indians scored only 129 runs for the lose of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. It was expected that Rising Pune Supergiant will achieve this target easily and will win the title. But MI handled the situation very well in the final overs. Whereas RPS batsmen will blame themselves that they didn’t achieve the target.
RPS team couldn’t recover after they lost Dhoni, Smith, Tiwari and Sunder between 15 to 20 overs. RPS team scored only 128 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs chasing a small target of 129 runs.
The target of 129 runs is the lowest target in the final of any IPL which was defended by MI and this was the closest win in the IPL final.
