Team India will now have to play in the Champions Trophy in England to save the title. Virat Kohli is going to captain Team India for the first time in a ICC tournament. Team India is going to England on Wednesday. Team India have to play first match against Pakistan on June 4.

The first match of the tournament will be played in the oval between the 2013 edition’s runner-up, England and Bangladesh. While defeating England in an exciting encounter, India, who won the 2013 Champions Trophy title, will launch their campaign against Pakistan on 4 June in Edgbaston.
This ‘Mini World Cup’ will be played in England and Wales from 1 to 18 June, among eight Champion Teams. The teams are divided into two groups. In Group A, hosts England, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh are placed while in Group B defending champions India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and South Africa are placed. All teams will play 3-3 league matches and two top teams from both groups will enter the semi-finals.
