Harmanpreet scored 171 runs

The second semifinal match of the women’s World Cup is going on between the Indian women team and the Australian women’s team. India has given the target of 282 runs to Australia. Batting first, India scored 281 runs for 4 wickets in 42 overs with the help of Harmanpreet 171 runs. The match was reduced to 42 overs due to rain.

The Indian team did not start well and opner Smriti Mandhana was caught when the team’s score was just 6 runs. India’s second wicket fell as Poonam Raut got out on 14 runs. Captain Mithali Raj played a 36-run innings and got out on Beams’ ball. After this Harmanpreet shared a 137-run partnership with Dipti Sharma for the fourth wicket.

Dipti played very well with Harmanpreet, though she was dismissed for 25 runs. Harmanpreet shared an unbeaten 47-run partnership with Veda Krishnamurthy for the fifth wicket and set the target of 282 runs. Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten 171 in 115 balls with the help of 20 fours and seven sixes.
