The captain of India in their tour of the West Indies spoke up about the new faces in the India national cricket team. Kohli said that the young cricket players of the Men in Blue are already mature beyond their age.

The Indian batsman also thinks the Indian Premier League was a big help to the new cricket players. The league helped them hone their skills and improve their confidence at a very young age. It is one of the most important stepping stones new cricket players can have.

Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and Shubman Gill are some of the youngest players in the India national cricket team. Pant and Iyer are included in the upcoming West Indies Tour as well. Kohli continues to say that the confidence and skills of these new players at such a young age is great to witness.

The team captain also says that he treats everyone in the team equally. “As friendly as I am with Kuldeep (Yadav), I am the same with MS (Dhoni),” said Kohli to the Hindustan Times.

The Board of Cricket for India (BCCI) has chosen young players to play in the India Tour of West Indies 2019. The BCCI is planning to use the tour as a training ground for their young members.

The performance of the players will be observed to see who will be playing for India in the future. The T20 World Cup is one of these future events. This will be held in Australia next year. The BCCI is also preparing early for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. If the new players perform well on the tour, we might be seeing them play in the World Cup for India.
