Younis Khan of Pakistan has completed 10,000 runs in Test cricket. He achieved this milestone during his 58-run innings in the test match against the West Indies. He is the first Pakistani batsman to score 10,000 runs in test cricket. Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Javed Miandad has 8832 runs and Inzamam-ul-Haq has 8830 runs after Younus.
Yunus made his Test Debut for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in the Rawalpindi in February 2000. He scored 12 runs in the first innings of the match but he scored 107 runs in the second innings.
Sachin Tendulkar has most runs in Test cricket. Sachin has 15921 runs in 200 Tests. Younus completed 10000 runs in Tests on Sachin’s birthday itself. By the way, the first 10000 figure in the test was surpassed by Sunil Gavaskar of India. Sunil Gavaskar has 10122 runs in 125 Tests.
