South African cricket team reached India on Monday for a three-match ODI series. The 16-member African squad, along with coach Mark Boucher, will go directly to Dharamshala and practice there for the series starting on 12th March. South African team is now ready for a thrilling series against India after winning the 3–0 ODI series against Australia.
The growing number of Corona cases in India makes the visiting team careful and very cautious. There have been many suggestions for the visiting team to avoid hands shakes during the tour. Regarding this, Boucher said that it is not related to anyone’s honor but is a security issue. He said, ‘The medical team has given us many suggestions and asked to be cautious. Corona is a concern and we have been given information related to it and we have to accept it.
